Donna Borchardt

Donna M. Borchardt Beloit, WI Donna M. Borchardt 81, of South Beloit, IL passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 in NorthPointe Terrace Assisted Living in Roscoe, IL. She was born on January 17, 1933 in Roscoe, IL, the daughter of Richard Arthur and Fern Violet Baars Kamholz. She was a graduate of Capron High School. Donna married Herbert William Borchardt on May 29, 1953 in St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beloit, WI. She was secretary of St. Andrew Lutheran Church for many years and an active charter member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church including Altar Guild and the church choir. Donna was the Secretary-Treasurer of A.A.L. for over 30 years. Survivors include her husband, Herb; three sons, Gary Borchardt of South Beloit, IL, Gregg (Pat) Borchardt of Caledonia, IL and Mark (Robin) Borchardt of Rockton, IL; her daughter, Lynn (Mike) Edwards of Winnebago, IL; a step-daughter, Sandra (Joe) Landeck of Villa Grove, IL; ten grandchildren, Heidi (Mark) Wendtland, Luke (Jessica) Borchardt, Daniel (Rebecca) Borchardt, Sarah Borchardt, Matthew (Kayla Collins) Borchardt of Caledonia, IL, Brian, Kristin and Kari Edwards all of Winnebago, IL, Wyatt and Dylan Borchardt of Rockton, IL; two step-grandchildren, Lance (Annette) Landeck and Joey Lynn Sexton of Illinois; two great grandchildren, Dani, Jackson; four step great grandchildren, Tyrah, Trevor, Jordan and Lyndsey; four brothers, David (Vera) Kamholz of Juda, WI, Dwane (Marie) Kamholz of Rice Lake, WI, Gene (Janis) Kamholz of Brodhead, WI and Richard (Christine) Kamholz of Janesville, WI; and her sister, Liz (Charlie) Wiederholt of Beloit, WI; many nieces and nephews and special friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Fern Kamholz. A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014, in St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 511 W. Rockton Road, Rockton, IL with the Reverend Scott E. Herbert officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in St. Andrew Lutheran Church and from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until time of service in the church.Memorials may be given in Donna’s name to St. Andrew Lutheran Church and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
