Hershel Wilson

Hershel Wilson age 89 of Beloit died Monday December 19, 2016 at Premier Care in Beloit. He was born July 10, 1927 to the late John and Hazel (Walker) Wilson in Richmond Center, WI. Hershel worked on the family farm in Richland Center before moving to Beloit. He was employed at Freeman Shoes in the assembly department for over 40 years. He enjoyed living in Beloit and assisting his friends, family & neighbors anyway possible. Hershel will be remembered as a caring brother and uncle. Hershel survived by his brother, Glendon Wilson and many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth Wilson his two sisters, Jena (Dick) Pohl and Kathleen (Von) Bender and his sister in law, Katherine Wilson.

The family would like to thank the staff at Premier Care the outstanding and compassionate care they gave Hershel.

A Celebration of Hershel’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 23, 2016 in the BRIAN G. MARK FUNERAL HOME 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with Rev. Larry Turner officiating. Friends will be received on Friday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Inurnment will follow in the Rockton Cemetery.
