So sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. We worked together at the Clinton Senior Center for a few years and also went to the Shopiere Congregational Church together. She always had a hug and a peck on the cheek for me and we became “sis” to each other. She was so energetic and happy and always had a big smile for everyone. She will be greatly missed!
- Carol LiebI was very sorry to learn of Joan’s passing. I knew her through volunteering at Beloit Memorial Hospital, and she was such fun to work with. I will remember her for her many stories and quips, and she even knitted things for me. I will think of her every time I wear the scarves she made for me. She was always smiling, and she was a special and thoughtful friend. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Joan and her family.
- Elizabeth MertesWe are very sad to hear of Joans passing. We met Joan, as (Grandma Joey) at her favorite place “the Camper.” We were her next door neighbor for just over a year. Our son and daughter grew very close to Joan last summer and it was so heartbreaking to know that we will not see her smiling face anymore. The kids were always excited to know she was there and ran up to her every time we went to the Campground.
- The Sundt FamilyOur hearts and prayers are with the family. Kisses and hugs to Grandma Joey.
Lots of good memories with Jo – she will be missed by the many people that she encountered over the years especially through her many hours of volunteering. I’ll always remember fishing with her and her hospitality at her vacation home on Green Lake and being her bowling teammate for a number of years. May she rest in peace.
- Judy & Jerri WightmanWe will cherish our fond memories of Joan, a very nice lady, always willing to help in some way.
Our sympathies to her families and their extended families.
May God Bless you all.
