John Hansen Obituary

John Hansen Beloit John Hansen, age 75, died Sunday February 8, 2015 at Agrace Hospice in Janesville. John was born June 18, 1939 to the late John and Evelyn (Koloch) Hansen in Waukesha, WI. He graduated from Pewaukee High School, class of 1958 and studied mortuary science at MATC. John married Diana Hull on January 17, 1966 in Reno, NV. In 1967, John established a three county Toyota dealership in Beloit that he owned and operated for many years. John was a lifelong salesman who enjoyed the personal interaction that his profession offered. He cherished the role of a being private entrepreneur and always meeting the expectations of his customers. John enjoyed motor boating, sailing and ice sailing. He was a longtime member of the Midwest Antique & Classic Boat Club. John and Diana shared many hours on the water, enjoying the romance and solitude the river offered. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diana Hansen; his daughter, Diana ((James Jr.) Geoffrey and their two daughters, Meredith & Elizabeth all of Kaukauna; his son, John Hansen of Marietta GA; his three brothers, Harvey (Joann) Hansen, Joseph (Kathleen) Hansen & Nels (Susan) Hansen; his sister Mary (Richard) Harnack; his sisters in law, Judy Hansen & Fern Hansen and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers, Robert & William and Kimberly Bonaparte his daughter from his first marriage. John’s Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday February 14, 2015 at SUN VALLEY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 1650 Sun Valley Road, Beloit, WI with Pastor David Ewing officiating. Friends will be received on Saturday at Church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial is being established in his name.
