Stephanie Kassal South Beloit Stephanie Kassal, 60, of South Beloit, IL, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in her home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on June 24, 1955 in Langley, VA the daughter of Archie and Luanne (Harness) Spradling. Stephanie married Ronald Kassal March 1, 1985 in Warrenton, MO. She graduated Chadwick High School in 1973. She worked as a Pharmacy Tech at Shopko Pharmacy. Stephanie loved a good cup of coffee, playing cards, doing word puzzles and going to casinos. She also enjoyed gardening, watching the finches and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. She is survived by her husband Ron, three daughters, Glorianne (Keith) Davies of South Beloit, IL, Kristina Benage of Janesville, WI and Elisabeth Kassal of South Beloit, IL; five grandchildren, Logan, Blake, Spencer, Ashton and Chloe; three brothers, Billy, Brian and Louis Spradling all of Springfield, MO; her mother-in-law, Betty Kassal; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends Gary and Diane Henning and Debbi Pinegar. She was preceded in death by parents, her father-in-law Adam Kassal and her grandparents.
The family would like to thank the Beloit Regional Hospice staff especially Katie, Jennifer and Jessica for their excellent care of Stephanie.
A Celebration of Stephanie’s Life will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, WI with the Reverend William Wagner officiating. The family will receive guests from 9:30 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
