Steven J. Shull
Clinton
Steven J. Shull age 62, of Clinton died Saturday February 2, 2013 in his home. He was born December 2, 1950 to the late Louis and Gladys (Krupke) Shull in Belvidere. Steve graduated from Clinton High School, class of 1969. He married the former Maureen Higgins on April 15, 1972 at Jefferson Prairie Lutheran Church. Steve volunteered with the Fire Dept and worked as a Plumber for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman. Steve enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, riding horses and gardening. Steve also enjoyed mechanics and could fix about anything.
He survived by his wife, Maureen Shull; his two sons, Josh (Becky) Shull and their daughter, Jadyn and Mark (Brooke) Shull; his three brothers, Louie (Barbara) Shull, Jeff Shull and Kevin Shull; two sisters, Sue (Greg) Repaal and Barb Beeman and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rita Kietzman.
Steve’s Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at JEFFERSON PRAIRIE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 23184 Bergen Road, Poplar Grove, IL with Pastor Thomas Groth officiating. Friends will be received at Church on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial is being established in his name. Please share a memory with the Shull Family on our website.
