Curtis “Klink” Oleston age 67 of Avalon, WI died peacefully on Tuesday April 2, 2024, at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born July 7, 1956, to Charles and Marion (Benstead) Oleston in Elkhorn, WI. Klink graduated from Clinton High School, class of 1974. He farmed and drove truck in the Clinton area most of his life. Klink owned and operated Oleston Bros Trucking for many years. He was a kindhearted individual who was a friend to everyone. Klink would lend a hand or help a stranger in moment’s notice. He will be remembered for always wanting to pick up the tab.
Klink is survived by his sister, Barb Noll; his nephew Joshua (Ashley) Munch; his niece Jennifer (William) Munch; his grandnephew, Ulee; his grandniece Fay; his best buddy Jeff (Kathy) Collins; and many other friends and family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice as well as all of his friends and family who cared for him during his time of need.
Klink’s Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday April 8, 2024, at CHRIST COMMUNITY CHURCH, Clinton, WI with Mike Ligman officiating. Friends will be received on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 504 Milwaukee Road, Clinton and again on Monday in Church from 12 Noon until the time of service. Burial following the service in the Clinton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
