David Schuring

David Schuring age 75 of Clinton, died Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born September 27, 1948 to George and Lillian (Brennecka) Schuring. He graduated from Crown High School, Class of 1966. After school, David spent over 16 years serving his country in the US Army. He married Judy (Kauer) Lancaster in July of 1984, and they spent nearly 40 loving years together. David worked at Butcher Boy Doors in Harvard and ALCOA in Beloit until his retirement in 2010.

David was an avid Chicago Bears fan, who also enjoyed watching Monday Night Wrestling. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and staying in his pajamas.  He enjoyed shopping local garage sales and Goodwills in search of PEZ, Beanie Babies, cookie jars, and other treasures.

David is survived by his wife, Judy; his four stepchildren, Michael Lancaster, Terri (Paul) Sherman, Todd Lancaster, and Mark Lancaster; and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, friends, and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers LaVerne, Kenneth, and Roger; his sisters Diane, Vicky, and Tracey.

The family would like to thank the staff at Beloit Memorial Hospital for the care they gave David- with special thanks to nurses Katie, Michelle, Megan, Amanda, David, Marcus, and Dr. Kittah.

David’s Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2024, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 716 Shur-Lar Lane, Clinton, with Fr. Bart Timmerman officiating. Friends will be received at the Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private burial at Lake View Cemetery, Rib Lake, WI. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
