In 1969 she worked as a secretary at Roosevelt Jr. High School and later at Beloit Memorial High School. After retirement in 1987, she substituted for 15 years. Those who survive her include her sons, Steven (Kathy) of Clinton, WI, Douglas (Debbie) of Hartland, WI, & Robert (Laura) of Beloit, WI; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Nilson of Madison, WI and Randy Letheby (who was like a son). She is further survived by granddaughters, Heather (Chris) Kelley, Marissa Nilson, Katelyn (Erinn) Brooks, Samantha (Ryan) Haller, Becky (Josh) Hinz, Christina Nilson, and Bridget (Keith) Woyach; grandsons, Mike (Donelle) Kennedy, David Kennedy, Dan (Tiffany) Walrack, Matt (Michelle) Nilson, Kris (Megan) Nilson, Nick (Summer) Nilson, Aaron (Christa) Nilson, and Brian (Sherry Wilson) Joseph; thirty great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
