Brian graduated from Loyola University in Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He has been working in funeral service since 1999, when he graduated with honors from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Brian lived in Appleton, Wisconsin for eight years, managing a multi-location funeral home. In March of 2008 he acquired the Schoenfeld Funeral Home from Allen Schoenfeld. Brian has a dual-state license that allows him to practice Funeral Directing and Embalming in both Wisconsin and Illinois. He is a licensed agent for Preneed Funeral and Burial Agreements, allowing him to assist families with all aspects of pre-planning. Brian has dedicated his professional life to the planning and orchestration of meaningful and dignified final tributes.
Brian is an active member of the Beloit community. He is committed to local civic and fraternal organizations that promote unity and fellowship throughout the area. He is a member of the Moose Lodge #191, the Beloit Noon Lions Club, the Elks Club, Ducks Unlimited, The Knights of Columbus, and Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. He belongs to the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce as well as Northeast Business Association (NEBA).
Brian and his wife, Diane, have been married since 2000 and have three children, Avery, Griffin, and Charlotte. Together they enjoy competitive slalom waterskiing, boating, and the many family activities that the Rock River Valley has to offer.

Kathleen E. Anderson
Kathleen “Kathy” E. Anderson was born and raised in Beloit, Wisconsin one of nine children. She is a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School and Blackhawk Technical College. She has two step children, David and Linda. Kathy worked for 23 1/2 years at the Beloit Corporation. She joined Brian Mark Funeral Home in 2006. She is the office manager taking care of all of the paperwork involved with a funeral service.
She enjoys reading, creating all of her own greeting cards, watching the Green Bay Packers play and spending time with her family and friends.
Michael D. Meier
Brian Mark Funeral Homes welcomes Michael D. Meier, licensed Funeral Director and long time resident of Beloit as a staff member and Associate. Originally from Milwaukee, Mike is a graduate of Catholic Memorial High School, University of Wisconsin and Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago. He served as a funeral director and later, manager for a large Milwaukee Funeral Home from 1972 to 1990. Moving to Beloit in 1991 he has served hundred of area families. In 2003 Mike purchased Strouf Funeral Home in Racine, WI where he successfully operated the firm and served hundreds more families. After 43 years licensed in funeral service, Mike retired on January 1, 2016 selling Strouf Funeral Home to his trusted funeral director and long time friend and will continue his relationship as a consultant with the firm. He has returned to Beloit to live full time. He is a Lay Associate with the Racine Dominican Order, and enjoys restoring and working on his classic muscle cars. Mike is honored to serve area families once again, in their time of need.
Courtney is our new Pre-need Counselor at our funeral homes. She is a licensed life insurance agent specializing in prearrangement services. She grew up in the funeral industry all her life, giving her the appropriate skills to work with families who are looking to start planning and financing their funerals. Courtney grew up in Platteville, WI, where she attended St. Mary’s Middle School, Platteville High School, and the University of Wisconsin Platteville. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, catching up with family and friends, and if time permits traveling. Her love of working with people is what led Courtney who the funeral industry. She is looking forward to meeting with all of you.
