Dorothy D. Dobbs

Dorothy D. Dobbs, age 81 of Beloit died on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in her home. She was born February 14, 1937 the daughter of Roy and Georgie Dickerson in Lawrenceville, IL. She married Hubert Dobbs on July 7, 1953 in Lawrenceville, IL. Dorothy worked at Kmart for many years until it closed. She was proud of her garden and was involved with the garden walk in Beloit. She enjoyed quilting, antiques and cooking.

Dorothy is survived her husband, three children; David (Sandi) Dobbs, Rick (Jill) Dobbs and Mark Dobbs, six grandchildren, many great grandchildren, a sister Virginia Arrowood and 2 brothers, Donald (Claudia) Dickerson and Marvin (Judy) Dickerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Dorothy’s Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the BRIAN G. MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit. Friends will be received on Tuesday 11:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home. The cortege will process to Floral Lawns Cemetery, South Beloit, IL for interment.
