Geraldine W. Reddy

Geraldine W. Reddy Rural Janesville Geraldine W. Reddy, 90, of LaPrairie Township, Janesville, WI died, Sunday December 18, 2011 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born October 10, 1921 in Escanaba, MI, the daughter of William and Leah Senecal Wald. She married Floyd E. Reddy, Sr. on April 16, 1938, in Beloit, WI. Geraldine was employed by the Wagon Wheel Lodge, Borgs, Freeman Shoe and Fairbanks Morse & Company. She was a member of the Shopiere Congregational Church and their Ladies Aide, Fairbanks Morse Quarter Century Club and was a Senior Companion. She is survived by two sons, Floyd (Jeannette) Reddy, Jr. of Sun City, AZ and Larry (Karen) Reddy of Darien, WI; a daughter, Sandra (Laverne) Hays of Orfordville, WI; seven grandchildren, Wade (Liz) Reddy, Kyle (Lori) Reddy, Steven (Tammy) Hays, Matthew (Lori) Hays, Michael (Megan) Hays, John Reddy and Susan (Robert) Buss; 11 great grandchildren, Jessica, Joseph, Tyler, Samuel, Graham, Jacob, Katelyn, Arwynne, Adeline, Levi and August; a brother, Keith (Joyce) Wald of Beaver Dam, WI; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd; granddaughter, Gail Reddy and six brothers and sisters, Bill, Elizabeth, Pearl, Violet, Vernon and Dorothy. Geraldine’s Funeral Service will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 22, 2011, in the SHOPIERE CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, 5328 East Church Street, Shopiere, WI with the Rev. Gene VanGalder officiating. Family will greet friends on Thursday at Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Following Geraldine’s service, the cortege will process to Shopiere Cemetery for interment.
