Ivan D. Eckholm

Ivan D. Eckholm, 84, of Beloit, WI, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Cedar Crest in Janesville, WI. He was born April 19, 1934 the son of the late Elof and Pauline (Rhoadae) Eckholm in the Town of Glendorado, MN. He married Shirley Nelson on August 10, 1962 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Beloit. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2009. He was a professor at Blackhawk Technical College and Milwaukee Area Technical College. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Kiwanis and the Retired Educators Association. Ivan volunteered at Beloit Memorial Hospital and enjoyed Baroque music.

Ivan is survived by his son, Hans Fredrik (Sherry) Eckholm of Watertown, WI and his daughter, Kristin Marie (Jeff) Molldrem of West Allis, WI; three grandchildren, Magnus and Lilia Eckholm of Watertown, WI and Andy Molldrem of West Allis, WI.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife; brothers John and Paul and sister Ione.

Ivan’s Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 617 St. Lawrence Ave., Beloit with Rev. Lucy Wynard officiating. Friends will be received in the Church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial in his name may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Scholarship Fund.
