Judy Maxted

Judy H. Maxted, age 96, of Beloit died Sunday October 27, 2019 in her home. She was born December 1, 1922 to Leonard and Helen L. Helland in Monroe, WI. She graduated from Juda High School, class of 1940. Judy married Robert J. Maxted on October 7, 1945 in Juda, WI. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2015. She owned and operated J.M. Poodles for many years and worked as the executive secretary at Beloit Memorial High School until her retirement. Judy enjoyed riding her Suzuki motorcycle and participating in area poker runs. She will be remembered as an exceptional woman with great conviction & grace.

She is survived by her four children, Dean (Karen) Maxted, Debra (Larry) Ramsey, Doreen Maxted & Douglas (Lisa) Maxted all of Beloit; six grandchildren, Dean (Megan), Derek, Jerrod (Crystal), Tonya (Ben), Jesse (Angel) and Jacob (Kristina); her brother, Bruce Helland and many great grandchildren, neighbors and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, DeeAnn Lynn Maxted, her sister, Rachael and her two brothers, Gordy & Duane.

Judy's Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday November 1, 2019 in the BRIAN G. MARK FUNERAL HOME 1000 Inman Parkway with Mark Maxted officiating.  Family will greet friends and relatives on Friday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow Judy's service in Eastlawn Cemetery, Beloit. A memorial fund has been established in her name.  Please share a memory or a condolence with the Maxted family on our website.
