Mary Ann Kitzman age 91, of Beloit, WI died Sunday, December 1, 2019 at her son's Steven's home. She was born on September 30, 1928 the daughter of John and Dorothy (Bonafede) Laudicina. Mary was a graduate of South Beloit High School. She married Albert Kitzman on January 20, 1951 in St. Peter’s Catholic Church in South Beloit, IL. He preceded her on November 4, 2014. She was employed at J. C. Penny company for 33 years. She was longest serving employee there, working mainly in the drapery department. For four years, she worked at the Beloit School District as a special needs aid. She then worked part time at Elder Beerman Department Store for 11 years. She enjoyed being with her family, especially for holidays and birthdays. She also enjoyed family vacations and spent time in Needles, California with friends. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of South Beloit, Illinois.
Mary is survived by her six children, Dave (Faith) Kitzman and Albert (Cheryl) Kitzman both of Beloit, Jacqueline (Bruce) Battersby of Kenosha, WI, Susan Kitzman, Steve (Mary) Kitzman and Phillip (Tracy) Kitzman all of Beloit; 7 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; two sisters Isabelle Lee of Rockton, IL and Dotty Weaver of Overland Park, KS, many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; one brother Vito Laudicina and daughter- in-law, Sharon Kitzman.
A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 in the BRIAN G. MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with the Pastor Donald Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday at the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
