Paul K. Wendorf age 65 of Beloit died Monday June 4, 2018 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born August 22, 1952 to the late Kenneth and Jessie (Rosman) Wendorf in Beloit. Paul attended St. John’s Lutheran school in Beloit through the 6th grade then attended Powers School and graduated from Turner High School in 1970. He graduated from Milton College in 1975 with a B.A. in Music.
During his college years he played lead guitar in a band and after college he went on to play weekends at Lake Lawn Lodge in Delavan, WI. His band, “Now and Forever” also played at the Crystal Palace in the Turtle Lake area. The also played on the Lady of the Lake Boat several times, the Delavan Lake Yacht Club plus private parties.
Paul was a member of Redeemer Evangelical Covenant Church and was pianist and Head Bell director for a short period of time. He was employed by Voigt Music Center as a guitar and piano teacher. He later became manager of the Band Wagon Music Store in Janesville, WI. He was later employed by the Beloit Foundry Co. in their Production Department. Lastly, he became a guitar and keyboard teacher at Paradise Guitars in Beloit.
On December 3, 1989 he suffered a disabling automobile accident in Janesville, WI. After several months in a Rehabilitation Hospital he became a resident of Premier Rehab in Beloit.
He is survived by his three aunts; Doris (George) Ferger of Clinton, Anita Zabel of Beloit and Beverley Winarski of Potter, WI and special friends Tony & Londa Farrell of Janesville, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Paul’s Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday June 6, 2018 in the REDEEMER EVANGELICAL COVENANT CHURCH, 2500 Prairie Ave., Beloit with Pastor Chris Carlson officiating. Friends will be received on Wednesday in the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
