Peggy Jo Ward

Peggy Jo (Welch) Ward, 77, of Beloit passed away at home on December 17, 2019 with her children present. She was born in Portland, Oregon on June 18, 1942 to Marshall Welch and Monta Lee (Stevens) Welch.  She was married to Jerry G. Ward who predeceased her in 2008. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years, Webelos den mother, and an avid baseball fan. Her favorite team was the Chicago Cubs. She also loved to cook.

Peggy is survived by her two children, Chris (Bonnie) Ward of Janesville and Missy Ward of Beloit; two grandchildren, Sunshine (Mike) Saddudin and Ryan (Abby) Schmidt; and by several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Monta Lee Welch, her father Marshall Welch, husband Jerry G. Ward, and brother Curtis Welch. 

Peggy's Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 28, 2019 in the  BRIAN  MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit.  Friends will be received on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will be private.  Please share a memory or a condolence with the family on our website.
