William "Bill" Haney Obituary

William L. "Bill" Haney II age 42 of Springfield, MO died Thursday, November 29, 2018. He was born September 4, 1976 to William and Cathy Haney in Fort Bragg, CA. William graduated from Minot High School in North Dakota and completed his education at North Dakota State College  earning a degree in Technical Drafting. William worked as truck driver at O & S Trucking in Springfield and enjoyed the adventures of the open road. He also enjoyed fishing, Frisbee golf and putt putt golf. William also coached the Springfield Storm Youth Football Team. He supported and was a member of the Johnny Morris Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium in Springfield, MO. William will be greatly missed, especially his fun and sarcastic humor.

 He is survived by his grandparents, Robert & Bettie Haney of Beloit; his mother, Cathy Owens; his sister, Sarah (Adam) Wohlwend of La Crosse; his uncle, John (Jeanie) Haney of Beloit; his three aunts, Edna (Roy) Fulkerson, Helen (Russ) Smith and Ronnie Chadwick; he is further survived by his  cousins and his O & S Trucking family.

 He was preceded in death by his father, William Lee Haney.

 William continues to give as he has saved four lives thru organ donation.

William's Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 8, 2018 in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, Inman Parkway, Beloit. Friends will be received on Saturday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his name.  Please share a memory or a condolence with the family on our website.
