Alfred G. Alf, age 80 of Beloit died December 25, 2019 in his home. He was born July 15, 1939 to the late Richard and Alma Louise (Zink) Alf in Beloit, WI. Alfred started working at the age of eight as a live in farm hand and graduated from Beloit Memorial High School class of 1956. He spent his career in the dairy business as a Milkman. Alfred is fondly remembered as a handyman who could fix anything, his "corny dad" jokes and his woodworking and jigsaw puzzle abilities. He is also remembered for his yards beautiful Hosta's, Irises and Lilies as well as his indoor African Violets and Spider plants. Alfred loved fishing, trips to Minnesota but his greatest love was for his family. He lived for his children, grandchildren and his great grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons, Tim (Theresa) and Mike Alf; his daughters, Cathie Pautsch and Trina Tucker; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his 11 brothers and twin sister.
Alfred's Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday December 31, 2019 in the BRIAN G. MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with Rev. Richard Whippler officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday in the Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Alfred's name.
