Alice J. Richards, age 92, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was born October 18, 1930, in Rockton, Il, to Roy and Florence (Hendee) Tuttle.  Alice married Ward E. Richards Sr. in 1947 and she spent her years raising the children and being a homemaker. 

She enjoyed many activities, including fishing, long walks, playing Yatzee and cards.  Alice loved gardening and enjoyed all animals and birds.  Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandkids.

Alice is survived by her four children, William H. (Kay) Sr, David A. Richards, Carol J. (Tom) Perkins, and Sarah M. (Dale) Vance.  Grandchildren, Lisa (Sean) Johnson, Aaron W. Richards, William (Catherine) Richards, Austin Richards, Chandler Richards, Alicia (Corey) Dominy, Tom (Megan) Perkins, Kimberly (Matt) Jackson, Jody Simpson, Amanda Jo (Justin) Stone, and Justin Paul.  She was also blessed with many great grandchildren and one brother, Raymond Tuttle Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ward E. Richards, Sr., son, Ward E. Richards Jr., Daughter, Gloria J. Richards, Granddaughter Danielle Richards, sisters Barbara Stout, Ruby Gregus, two brothers, Alvin Tuttle, and Ralph Tuttle.

Alice’s Funeral Service will 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit. Friends and family will be received on Saturday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will follow the service in the Eastlawn Cemetery.  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
