Arden W Seach Obituary

Arden “Art” W. Seach, 88 of Shopiere,WI was called home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Beloit Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Arden was born September 13, 1936 in Beloit, WI; son of Joseph Seach and Virgil and Donald Hendee.  Arden attended school at Crist Elementary and was a 1954 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. On April 9, 1960, Arden married the love of his life Teresa Schultz at the Old Stone Church in Rockton, IL; together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage.

Arden served in the US Army from May 1959 to May 1962, stationed in Hales Corner, WI and Detroit, MI, - Nike/Ajax missile bases.  Over the years Arden was employed at Barber Colemans, Beloit Public Works Dept, Chicago & Northwestern Railroad, Wisconsin Southern Railroad and retired from United Industries, Beloit.  He also loved the part-time work he did at Finley’s Apple Orchard.

Arden was an avid gardener, liked to go hunting and fishing, loved tinkering and building things as, “He was the world’s best handyman”. He loved helping his son farm (he taught him everything he knew) and introduced his daughter to his love of gardening.  On the side, Arden sold Army surplus items at gun shows and built model trains.  He enjoyed every minute of restoring his Army truck and playing in the church dart ball league.  He was an amazing baker, especially his pies!  He also was a Charter member of the Chicago & NorthWestern Historical Society and Member of the American Legion Post 440 of Clinton.

Arden and Teresa were members of Christ Lutheran Church in Clinton, Wi. They enjoyed taking walks together, family trips to Hayward, playing cards with good friends Jim and Shirley, taking rides to Rochelle to watch and photograph the trains, and sitting together by the fire pit in their yard.

Arden was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.  He was a kind and humble man loved by so many people, and was always there to help others. He liked spending time with his grand-dogs too.

Survivors include his wife; Teresa Seach, children; Gail (Russ) Aldrich, Michael (Haley) Seach; grandchildren; Tyler (Jenna) Aldrich, Trey (Kate) MacCormack; great-grandchildren; Waylon, Briggstin, Mckinlee; nieces/nephews; Don Seach, Tim Seach, Aaron (Tieara) Seach, Rick Conradson, Vickie Hart and Doug Buhmeyer and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother Peter Seach, sister-in-law Bonnie Seach, sister Dawn Buske and close family friend Jim Presho.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Beloit Health System Intermediate Care staff and physicians for the amazing care provided to Arden, and also a thank you to the Town of Turtle Fire Department and Beloit Fire Department for his pre-hospital care.
