Barbara (Barb) Kohlweiss, age 81, of Beloit, WI, died Tuesday September 24, 2024 in her home. She was born on October 3, 1942 to Floyd and Jean (Jackson) Nimz in Beloit, WI. Barb was a 1960 graduate of Clinton High school.  She married Ronald Kohlweiss on February 23, 1964 in Beloit.   He preceded her in death on July 15, 2011. Barb was a wonderful homemaker; she cared deeply for her children and grand children. Barb will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Tracy Kohlweiss of Beloit, WI and her daughter, Kelly (Thomas) Heepke of Oronoco, MN; four grandchildren, Ryan (Valerie) Heepke, Megan (Jeff) Dahm, Camden (Fiancé Maddi) Heepke & Jadyn Heepke; two great grandchildren, Madison & Brody;  her sister Kathleen (Adrian) Samineago; several nieces and nephews.  

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband.

The family would like to the thank Intern Health Care and Beloit Regional Hospice for the care they gave Barb.

Barb’s Funeral Service will be 12 Noon on Monday September 30, 2024 in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, WI, with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating.  Friends will be received on Monday in the Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow the service in the Emerald Grove Cemetery. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
