Betty H. Forrest, 85, of Clinton, WI, passed away on March 12, 2026, at Willowick Assisted Living- Clinton, with her loving family by her side. She was born on her family’s farm in Springfield, WI on September 8, 1940, to the late Walter and Ruth (Burt) Kayser. Betty was a 1958 graduate of Elkhorn High School. She married Frederick J. Forrest Jr. on August 9, 1958, together they shared 60 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2019.
Betty was a long-time member of Emerald Grove Church, when her kids were growing up she was a Cub Scout leader, Brownie Leader, 4-H leader. She was on the Rock County Sheriff Reserves, and was an EMT in Clinton. Betty was active in Shopiere Days, and loved traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, and Europe with her husband. Betty will always be remembered as everyone's mom and grandma. Affectionately known to her grandkids as “Grandma Bozo”, the thing Betty cherished most in life was being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; her family was her everything.
Survivors include her children; Rebecca Ames, Andrew (Tina) Forrest, Douglas (Angie) Forrest, Jennifer Forrest; special adopted students; John (Majken) Sorensen, Mayang Tavares; grandchildren; James Forrest, Cody (Amy) Campbell, Amanda (Josh) Krieger, Derek (Rianne) Forrest, Dustin (Scarlet) Forrest, Jarod (Emili) Forrest, Connor (Melissa) Campbell, Hannah (Jacob) Sondreal, Brenna Forrest, Alexander Sorensen, William Sorensen; great-grandchildren; Keygan, Braven, Andrew, Harper, Hudson, Waylon, Westyn, Lia, Ava, Abel, Magnolia, Josie, Cheyyliei, Izabella; siblings; Rosemary Enright, Raymond (Jeanine) Kayser, Laverne (Ken) Aldrich, Jacquelyn (Larry) Grever, Merle Loomer; sisters-in-law; Karen Kayser, Barb Kayser, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred, daughters; Teresa and Josephine Forrest; siblings; Bob Kayser, Donna Hertle, Don Kayser, Alvin Kayser, Roger Kayser; her beloved dog, Blue.

A funeral service will take place at 11AM on March 24, 2026 at Emerald Grove Congregational United Church of Christ- 8127 US-14, Janesville, WI. A visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of the service. An additional visitation will take place on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Brian Mark Funeral Home- 1000 E Inman Pkwy, Beloit from 5PM to 8PM. Burial will take place at Clinton Cemetery.
