Bonnie L. Barclay, age 71 of Beloit, WI died Tuesday October 4, 2022 in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Sheboygan, WI on September 15, 1951 to Dale and Phyllis (Whitehall) Barclay. She attended South High School in Sheboygan, Sisters of Our Lady of Charity School in Green Bay and UW Whitewater. She married Christopher G. Ward on June 1, 1982. Bonnie worked as a Caregiver, Bartender, Waitress and most recently as a truck driver until her retirement.

Bonnie was an animal lover and took in many strays over the years. She was very selfless and often helped others in need. She had a great love of music and sang Karaoke and won several contests. She enjoyed drum corps performances and often played cribbage. She never missed an opportunity to send a card in the mail to those she cared about.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Chris Ward, her two children, Sunshine (Michael) Saddudin and Ryan (Abby) Schmidt; sister-in-law’s Missy Ward and Vicki Barclay, Grandchildren Michelle, Mikey, Izzy and Harrison, nieces & nephews as well as many chosen family members.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Phyllis Barclay, brothers Mike Barclay, Denny (Linda) Barclay, Terry (Gerri) Barclay and many close friends.  

A Time to Celebrate and Honor Bonnie's Life is scheduled for Tuesday October 11, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
