Brant Van Marter Obituary

Brant Edward Van Marter, age 32 of Lyndon Station passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at UW Hospital in Madison. He was born August 19, 1990, Waukegan, IL, the son of Timothy Van Marter and Michelle Dauer. Brant enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially up north. His passion for teaching his children about the outdoors was endless. From fishing to hunting to caring for the woods and using all the resources it offered. He loved projects and had many. Brant could fix just about anything-even if he had to Mac Gyver it! His willingness to talk to anyone, his kind and giving heart and his sense of humor along with practical jokes will be some of the many reasons he will be so greatly missed. The only thing he enjoyed more than watching the Green Bay Packers play, was to be tossing the football around with his kids.

Survivors include the love of his life, Nikki Keesee; his pride and joy, his children, Jazmin, Dominik, Harmonee, and Raelyn; his mother, Michelle (John); his stepmother, Gale Van Marter; his two sisters, Courtney Van Marter and Koreynne Aull; his three aunts, Roxana (Brian) Martin, Laura Gladem and Michelle Van Marter; his extended family, Allie Keesee & Isaac Bass and Lisa Keesee & Dennis Knott; his best friend, Jordon Hatfield and many cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Van Marter, his paternal grandparents, Paul & Sam Van Marter, his uncle Kevin Van Marter and cousins, Colton Van Marter & Alivia Gladem.
