Bruce Titus, 59, of Whitewater, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2026. He was born on September 1, 1966, to Gerald R. Titus and Valerie (Schoville) Burrow. Bruce graduated from Parker High School in Janesville, where he participated in cross-country, baseball, and football.

Bruce spent most of his career as a supervisor for Simmons Mattress Company, and those who knew him would say he was a hard-working, dedicated employee. He loved nature, being outdoors, and hunting with his son, Kyle, in his earlier years. He had a deep passion for old country music and could find a song lyric for any challenge life threw his way. He loved the Green Bay Packers, NASCAR, trips to Bristol Speedway, and also played softball for the Afton A’s when he was younger. His dogs were his life, and he was most proud to be the dad to his three children, whom he cared for immensely.

Survivors include his mother, Valerie Burrow; his children, Kyle (Ashley) Titus, Jayne (Teddy) Ruetz, and Madison Titus; his sister, Sherry (Ryan Crawford) Titus; his grandchildren, Jolene, Waylon, Loretta, Lainey, and Griffin; his dogs; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Titus; his brother, Jerry Titus; his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Marjory Titus; his maternal grandparents, Marlon and Ione Schoville; and his uncles, Robert Titus and Jim Titus.
