Charlene M. Warren, age 86, of Clinton, WI, died Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Azura Memory Care in Clinton, with her family by her side. She was born May 28, 1938, to Arthur and Julia Zimmerman in Rockford, IL. Charlene graduated from Rockford East High School, class of 1956. She married Ronald R. Warren on May 11, 1957, in Rockford, IL. He preceded her in death on March 19, 2024. Early on Charlene worked as a phone assembler and as a bank teller. She cherished her role as a mother, homemaker and farmer’s wife. Together, they raised three sons on the farm, and in later years, enjoyed retirement in Arizona. For many years, Charlene and Ronald owned the ‘Dairy Haus’ in Rockton, IL, where their recipes are still used today. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved gardening, cake decorating, basket making, ceramics, shopping, and most of all bingo.

Charlene is survived by her three sons, Mike (Jody) Warren, Greg (Brenda) Warren, Phil (Kathy) Warren; her grandchildren Heather (Daryl) Vander Pal, Christopher (Alyssa Huff) Warren, Rebecca (Mike) Thomason, Rachel (Jason) Peters, and Danielle Waltman; her great-grandchildren Leona, Dayton, Keylee, Haylee, Anna, Brennan, Gabriel, Connor, and MacKensie; her brother, Henry and many other beloved family, and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Geneva, her husband, Ronald Warren, and her brothers, Arlen, Ronald, Donald, her grandson, Jarrett Warren and stepbrother Richard Barry.

The family would like to thank the staff at Beloit Hospice and the Azura staff for the care and love they extended to Charlene.

A private family graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beloit Regional Hospice. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
