Charles B. Lawshe, age 71, died peacefully surrounded by his family on June 8, 2023, in Delavan.  He was born on January 25, 1952, in Rockford Il.  After high school, Charles took a year off to travel and then enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Hawaii.  He was honorably discharged in 1974. Charles worked at Elco, Caterpillar, and Motorola as a factory worker.  He loved going to flea markets and buying and selling collectables.

He is survived by his son, Jason (Veronica) Lawshe, and three grandchildren, Hailey, Aiden, and Gabe, of Cherry Valley, IL.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.
