Charles J Lynch Obituary

Charles James Lynch, 82, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones after his battle with cancer. He was born to Dorothy and Byron Lynch in Lacrosse, WI on May 7, 1943. He served in the National Guard of Wisconsin, from 1964-1970. Soon thereafter, Charles married Susan Monahan on April 20, 1974. 

Beloit Corporation was his second home as an Electrical Field Erector traveling all over the U.S. and abroad, i.e., Brazil, New Zealand, Panama to name a few. In his retirement, he continued as a consultant for various paper companies. 

Charles spent many years at his cabin in Lynxville, WI on the Mississippi river. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family as well as his trusted companions Margo and Finny. 

Charles was a long-standing member of the Beloit Riffle Club as well as the Beloit Masonic Temple. Not to mention his weekly golf tournaments and constant presence at the Beloit Carom Room. 

Charles is survived by his wife Susan; son Elijah of Madison, WI., daughters Leah (Rob) Llorca of Roscoe, IL., Laura (Raul) Garcia of Schertz, TX., His much loved grandchildren; Madelyn Llorca of Beloit, WI., Norah Llorca of Machesney Park, IL., Olivia Garcia of San Marcos, TX., Charles Garcia of Fort Collins, CO., Gracie Garcia of Schertz, TX., sisters, Mary Bjerkas of LaCrosse, WI., Anne (Dan) Everson, Soldiers Grove and Susie (Rick) Rink of Houston, TX., brothers John (Betty) Lynch of Seneca, WI., Mike Lynch of Eastman, WI., and many nieces and nephews. 

Charles was preceded in death by his sister Jeannie Campbell. 

The family wishes to thank Beloit Regional Hospice and especially nurse, Aaron, for their wonderful care and compassion given to Charles. 

Visitation will be held October 17, 2025, at 10:30A.M. with a Mass immediately following at 11:30A.M. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church {Queen of Martyrs Parish}, 2222 Shopiere Rd., Beloit, WI; Father Bert Timmerman officiating.
