Curtis Phillip Fairchild passed away the evening of Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born to parents of John G. and Phyllis M. (Schoville) Fairchild on August 6, 1956, in Beloit.
After completing high school, he spent his career behind the wheel driving for various companies like Coach USA Van Galder, Shadow Trucking, and Mark L. Arneson Trucking for 20+ years.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Edward and Steven Fairchild as well as his parents. Curtis is survived by his brother Thomas (Barbara) Benson of Sedona, AZ; nephew, Mathew (Rebecca) Benson of League City, TX; niece, Dawn (Donald) Clifton of Afton, WI; stepdaughters, Megan (Brian) Crocco and Afton Guerra both of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Kaedyn, Mac, Mason and Olivia.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the American Legion – Orfordville, 3913 WI-213, Orfordville, WI 53576.
