Curtis R. Wilson Sr. age 90 of Beloit WI entered eternity on Sunday February 23, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born in Marked Tree, Arkansas on December 9, 1934, to Bill and Bytha (Smith) Wilson. Curt enlisted into the U.S. Navy and served his Country until his honorable discharge. He attended Rockford Business College. Curt married Olivia Brooks on January 14, 1984, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Edgerton, MO. Curt was also an active member of Shriners International. He enjoyed vacations with family and international adventures to Australia, Europe, Mexico and numerous cruises. Curt will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He was very proud of his family and the business he built with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Olivia Wilson; his four daughters, Cindy (Allen) McKillips, Carla (Harry) Anderson, Lori (Justin) Cross and Linda Dunman; his brother, James (Margaret) Wilson; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Dolores Wilson, his sons, Curtis Roe Wilson Jr., and Larry Steen, his parents, his sisters, Vernal Lovett and Geneva Mc Grew, his brother Billy Joe and sister-in-law Virginia Wilson.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Beloit Senior Living for all the care and support they provided to Curt and the family during this time.  We would also like to thank Beloit Regional Hospice for their support.

Curt’s Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday February 27, 2025, in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating. Masonic burial rites will be accorded at 10:45 a.m. Friends will be received on Thursday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Full Military Burial Rites will follow Curt’s service in the Funeral Home parking lot. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
