Dan R. Brittingham, 70, of Clinton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Dan was born March 24, 1950 to the late Walter and Leone (Grezedzielawski) Brittingham in Peru, IL.

Dan attended St. Bede Academy in Peru, IL. Dan dedicated 18 years to True Value as a supervisor. He enjoyed fishing, camping and exploring state parks with his fiancé Kathy. Dan also enjoyed spending his time as an auctioneer and working as a judge at local horse shows. Gambling and fishing with his friend Lennie was where you would find him if he were not cheering for his 6-time Super Bowl Champs, the now 9-0 Pittsburgh Steelers!

Dan will be lovingly remembered by his longtime fiancé Kathy Ferger; his son, Brett Brittingham; his two stepdaughters: Christy (Eric) Roush & Elizabeth Ferger; his stepson, Dan (Maureen) Ferger; nine grandchildren: Kortney (Chase) Arnold, Kamryn (Cody Meier) Brittingham, Garett Brittingham, Brenna & Anthony, Kaylin & Colton, and Jonathon & Addison; three great grandchildren: Kase, Grayson, Blake; and his brother, Donald Brittingham.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, David Brittingham and Timmy Gall.
