Daniel "Dan" S. Cone

Daniel S. Cone age 58 of Beloit died Tuesday July 18, 2023, in his home. He was born May 24, 1965, to James and Ethel (Hemiller) Cone in Janesville, WI. Dan graduated from Craig High School, class of 1983. He married Antonette (Anne) Heider on July 15, 1985. Dan worked for the Wisconsin Laborers Union as a construction worker until his recent retirement. He played keyboard and sang in the band, Eye Before You. Dan loved music, performing, and going to concerts. Dan was a social, active father and grandfather, he enjoyed sky diving, fishing, playing football, euchre, and bags. Hosting family reunions and Packer parties were some of his favorite events.

He is survived by his son Aaron Cone of Beloit; his daughter, Adrienne (Jeremy) Wells of Beloit; his grandson, Aiden Cone; his father, James Cone of Beloit; and his siblings, Deb Cone, Doug (Lisa) Cone & Steve Cone, and brother-in-law, Jim Heider

He was preceded in death by his wife, his mother, and his granddaughter, Abigail Cone.

Dan’s Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday August 5, 2023, in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, WI with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating. Friends will be received on Saturday in the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service. Burial will be private. A light lunch will be served after Dan’s service.
