Beloit, WI - Diana Leigh Messerschmidt was born December 27, 1938 to Mrs. Beulah Peach. She passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at home. On December 27, 1957 she married Orval Messerschmidt in Emerald Grove, WI who passed away on August 27, 2015. Diana retired in 1964 after working 6 years for Wisconsin Power and Light in Beloit. She was a Boy and Girl Scout Leader for 8 years and an officer of MADD for 23 years.
Diana is survived by her sons Michael (Amy) Messerschmidt, Heath Messerschmidt; daughter Heather (Tim) Clark; grandchildren Andrew (Melissa) Messerschmidt, Stephanie (Connor) O’Brien, Emily Clark; great grandchildren August, Molly, Eleanor; brother in laws Harold Messerschmidt, Dick (Donna) Messerschmidt, Jerry Messerschmidt; sister in laws Alice Clary and Betty Parker; brother Darryl Peach and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Orval Messerschmidt; her mother Mrs. Beulah Peach; brother Rev. Craig Peach; her mother and father in-law Emma and Frank Messerschmidt; brother in laws wives Vera, Kay and Lois Messerschmidt; her birthday twin Dwayne Clary; her husbands nephews Kenneth Messerschmidt, Daniel Messerschmidt; nieces Cindy Littlegeorge, Bobbi Manning and Frankie Parker.
Private family services were held.
