Dolores A. Hawver

Dolores A Hawver, age 98 of Beloit died on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Beloit Memorial Hospital.  She was born on August 27, 1925, to Rutherford and Eva (Hicks) Spicer in Cisne, IL. Dolores married Donald Hawver on October 20, 1946, in Harvard, IL.

Dolores enjoyed dancing, playing her guitar, singing, and yodeling. In her younger years she participated in singing contests throughout the Harvard and Walworth areas. Dolores was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. She enjoyed attending Kingdom Hall along with her spiritual brothers and sisters she loved.

She is survived by her children, Ted (Merilee) Hawver, Nancy (Monty) Hardt, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Halderman along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her three brothers, her two sisters and a grandchild.

The family would like to thank the staff at Beloit Memorial Hospital for the care they provided Dolores.

Dolores’s Funeral Service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023, at KINGDOM HALL, 650 Newark Road, Beloit, WI, with Brother Larry Gald officiating. Friends will be received in the Kingdom Hall on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Private Burial in Big Foot Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
