Donald L. Walston Obituary

Donald Walston age 65 of Beliot died on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born May 2, 1958 to Arthur and Elsie (Heberlein) Walston in Sunny Side, Washington. Donald graduated from Sunny Side High School class of 1975. He served in the US Army, for 2 tours, starting at age 17 in 1975. He worked as a forklift driver until his retirement in 2020.


Donald was known for his love of his grandchildren. The best years of his life were spent as a grandfather. He had a passion for old cars. He enjoyed shooting darts and playing pool with his wife, for many years.


Donald is survived by his wife Melissa, children Billy Walston and Debra Cassidy, grandchildren Emma, Aedan, Crosby, and Theodore, siblings Sandy Wilson and Kathy (Jim) Cullen, Danny Zieskiel, and many other beloved family and friends.


He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers.

 

            The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Beloit Memorial Hospital for their care, compassion, and comfort they provided Donald.

 

A time to honor and celebrate Donald will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
