Donald C. Hubka, passed away in the comfort of his home with his family. He was the son of Charles and Flora Hubka. He is survived by his wife Janet of 64 years, who was a loving wife, caregiver, and sounding board, his two sons Michael and Mark (Theresa), and the light of his life, granddaughter Emily Hubka, who he loved so much. He was so proud of her trap shooting and attending her meets, when his health was good.
Donald graduated from Clinton in 1954. He married Janet Salisbury September 5, 1959. He was in the US Marines from 1954-1957. He was the owner-operator at Lumber Transport, hauling for Wickes Lumber. He worked at Delong Company for 25 years. He enjoyed working on cars, anything with a motor, and woodworking.
Per Don’s wishes, there will be no service. Memorials would be appreciated to Beloit Regional Hospice.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Roger, special sister-in-law Shelia Salisbury.
He is survived by special brother-in-law Richard Salisbury.
