Dorothy Ellen Kehl age 85 of Beloit died Tuesday October 22, 2024 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born June 16, 1939 to Royal and Lucille (Neyhard) Canfield in Shopiere, WI. Dorothy attended Merrill High School. She married Arthur G.H. Kehl on December 31, 1978 in Janesville, WI. Dorothy worked as a die cast operator for 25 years until her retirement on October 29, 2004. She was an active member of Grace Evangelical Free Church. Dorothy loved her family and cherished her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed puzzles, knitting, crocheting and collecting cookbooks. Dorothy will be remembered for devoting her life to the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Kehl; her children, Eugene (Alesia) Leach, Kurt (Dawn) Leach, Lynne Leach, Penny (George) Green, Hope (Roger) Squires, Arthur Kehl, Cheryl Strader, Connie (Mike) Poppy, and Amy White; nineteen grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren and her brother Rev. Robert Canfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Geraldine (Walt) Peters, Freda (Vernon) Frost, her brother, Marlyn Canfield and her sister-in-law, Helen Canfield.

Dorothy’s Funeral Service will be at 12 Noon on Saturday October 26, 2024 in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with Rev. Dennis Anderson officiating. Friends will be received on Saturday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
