Eunice Echterling age 88 of Beloit, WI died on Monday February 24, 2025. She was born on August 22, 1936, to Nicholas and Evelaine (Anderson) Favero. Eunice graduated from Wilmington High School, class of 1952. She worked as a food service supervisor in the nursing home industry for many years. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and working on word puzzles. Eunice loved to bake cakes, especially wedding cakes for friends and family.  Later in life, she helped Bonnie and Allen in their General Store in Wilmington. She will be remembered for her love of cats especially her special cat “Kitty” for 17 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Allen) Normington, and many friends, coworkers and neighbors.

She is preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles.

The family wishes to thank the staff Alden Meadow Park Nursing home for all the care and support they provided to Eunice.

Eunice’s Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday March 2, 2025, in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating. Friends will be received on Sunday in the Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at East Lawn Cemetery.  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
