Frances Ruth McClintock age 93 of South Beloit, IL died November 23, 2024 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born July 11, 1931 to Martin and Florence (Craig) Leckscheid in Brainerd, MN. Frances married Robert McClintock on December 31, 1948 in Brainerd, MN. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2005. They moved to Harrison, IL in 1956 and settled in South Beloit, IL in 1959. Frances worked at Admiral Corporation in Harvard, IL for many years. She also worked as a housekeeper at Holiday Inn, Express & Econo Lodge until her retirement in 1990.  

She is survived by her children, Frank (Pat); Linda & Carol McClintock; her grandchildren Michele (Jerry) Garetson, Jason (Bre) McClintock; her great grandchildren Christopher (Andrea) Garetson, Alexis (Kenny) Brundage, Kara (Evan) McClintock, and great great granddaughter Aleena; her sister, Gladys Greenland; her brother Lacey Edwards and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, David, her sisters, Ethel Mitchell, Marie Sawyer, Ruby Walters, Lucy Hanson and her brothers, John Leckscheid & Earl Edwards.

Frances’s Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday December 2, 2024 in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with David Meding officiating.  Viewing & visitation will be received on Monday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Interment will follow at Floral Lawns Cemetery in South Beloit.  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
