Gary L. Henry Obituary

Gary Louis Henry died May 24, 2025, at his home in Clinton, WI. He was born to Harold Henry and Elaine (Schollmeyer) on August 27, 1949, in Beloit, WI. Gary was baptized and raised Lutheran and attended Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church and Jefferson Prairie Lutheran Church in Clinton. He graduated from Clinton High School, class of 1967 and then attended college at Milwaukee School of Engineering for mechanical engineering. Gary lived his entire life in Clinton, WI. He married Jane (Keller) and together they had three children, Michael, Stefanie, and Steven. Gary owned and operated the Gary Henry Construction business most of his working life, he also grew and sold Christmas trees and owned and managed several rental properties in Clinton. In retirement he drove a school bus for the Clinton school district. He enjoyed woodworking, mowing, working on vehicles or tractors, especially John Deere tractors, and going to tractor and train shows.

Gary is survived by his children; Michael Henry, Stefanie (Curtis) Stibb & Steven (Katie) Henry; his grandchildren, Sopris, Naomi, Wyatt, Sawyer, Emerson & Rory. He is further survived by his mother Elaine and his siblings Gail and Greg Henry.

He was predeceased by his father Harold and sister Gwen.

The family wishes to give a special thank you to Gail for all the help and care she had given to Gary over the last couple of years.

Gary’s Funeral Service will be at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday June 5, 2025, in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 504 Milwaukee Road, Clinton, WI. Friends will be received on Thursday in the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.    Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
