Gloria A. Martin

We are sad to announce that on August 6th, 2023, we had to say goodbye to Gloria A. Martin in the Montello Care Center, Montello, Wi. Born in Beloit to Floyd and Ethel Faith on July 20th,1931. Mom married Dad, Richard E. Martin, on July 2, 1949, in Beloit, WI., and they celebrated 68 years of marriage before he passed away. He predeceased her on August 21, 2017. Together they raised three rambunctious boys, and we had a great upbringing. The family enjoyed lots of camping and fun on Lawrence Lake! She was the best Mom ever! She loved to read, work on her puzzles, and had many interests. 

Survived by her two sons, Jeffery (Jean Haase) Martin of Stoughton, WI and David Martin of Westfield, WI; two grandchildren, Brian and April Martin of Beloit, and numerous great grandchildren; her brother Carroll (Glenda) Faith of Massachusetts and many friends and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Randy Martin, her parents and three siblings.

Gloria’s Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday August 11, 2023, in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating. Friends will be received on Friday in the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial to follow at Floral Lawns, Cemetery.
