Hai Thanh Trinh, 74, of Beloit passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Beloit Memorial Hospital. 

He was born on July 1, 1951, in Vietnam to Ngo and Chac (Nguyen) Trinh.  

Hai married the love of his life Hai Nguyen in February of 1969 in Vietnam. He worked at Wisconsin Knife Works for 45 years until his retirement. 

Hai enjoyed fishing, gardening, the outdoors, camping, listening to music, and taking vacations. Most of all, he loved being with his wife and family. Hai will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Survivors include his spouse, Hai Nguyen; children That (Trang) Trinh, Phuong Trinh, Hong Trinh, Kim (Bob) Esselman, Gerri (Paul) Campbell, and Linh Trinh; and numerous grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

A Visitation of Remembrance for Hai will be from 4-7pm Monday, January 19, 2026. In the Brian Mark Funeral Home, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, WI 53511. Funeral services and burial will be private. 

In lieu of monetary gifts, the family asks to either send flowers or donate to a charity of your choice.
