Hazel M. Lewis

Hazel M. Lewis, age 91, of Beloit, died Monday September 23, 2024 at home with her family at her side. She was born on April 18th, 1933 to Clark and Lena (Van Dam) Turner in Pittsville, WI.  Hazel attended Pittsville schools and was a Dietitian at Beloit Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, scrabble, baking, fishing, hunting, and was an outdoors person, and very proud of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, Martin (Monica) Lewis of Janesville, WI, & Merle (Jeanne) Lewis of Janesville, WI; her five daughters, Rita Robinson of Beloit, WI, Gale Morales of Beloit, WI, Connie Lewis of Beloit, WI, Kim Trumble of Spring, TX, Tammy Butterfield of Florence, WI, and sister, Bonnie Haasl of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and her fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Beloit Regional Hospice for the care they gave Hazel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two infant sons, two grandchildren and five sisters.
