Janice E. Rusch

Janice E. Rusch, age 79, of Janesville died Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Mercy Health System in Janesville. She was born October 31, 1943, the daughter of James (Bill) and Betty (Clark) Shepherd in Beloit. Janice retired from Johnson Bank as an administration assistant in the Trust Department and after retirement found her joy as a hostess at Cracker Barrel.  She loved to fish, dance, gamble and especially loved her diamond art, which she gave as gifts each Christmas, which was also her favorite holiday.  Janice adored her grandkids and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

She is survived by her two children, Kara (Kevin) Anderson and Dan (Michelle) Rusch, grandchildren, Kyle (Jane) Anderson, Sara (Preston) Barr and Colin Rusch; Great-grandchildren, Jaxon & Evelyn Barr, and Oakley Anderson; brother-in-law Steven Campbell and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Karen (Kaye) Campbell.

Janice's Funeral Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit. Friends will be received on Wednesday in the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
