Jean L. Lyga, age 69 of Beloit, passed away on November 28, 2024, at Beloit Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born May 17, 1955 to Ernest Wagner and Irma (Stevens) in Whitefish, Montana. 

Jean spent many years working as a clerk in multiple gas stations, in and around Arcadia and Blair, WI.  Jean loved to socialize with friends and family, she especially loved playing Bingo, putting together puzzles along with going to breakfast with her family. Jean also enjoyed knitting blankets, and spent a lot of time baking with her granddaughters throughout their lives. More recently she really enjoyed spending time and loving on her great-grandchildren Carlos Jr. and Leia. She will be remembered for her love of her family.

Jean is survived by her daughter Stacy Converse; granddaughters Loraina and Kayla Converse; great-grandchildren Carlos Jr. and Leia; son Michael Wagner-Anderson and his family; sisters Joyce, Janette, and Joan; and many other beloved nieces, nephews, family, friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her  parents; step-father William Kepler; and sister Janice.

The family would like to thank Beloit Regional Hospice for their care, given to Jean.
