Jennifer Buenzli Livingston died on Monday February 10th, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer.  She lived her life and lived her death exactly as she wanted.  Born in Janesville, Wisconsin on January 25, 1966, to Rod and Cam Buenzli, she graduated from Parker High School and attended the University of Wisconsin and Indiana University. After many detours, she earned both a bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate.  Jennifer began a career in Rock County as a judicial assistant where she met Jeff. They wed on October 3, 1999, in Door County.

Jennifer and Jeff bought an old home in Beloit that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, where they lived for 24 years.  Jennifer became active in the community by joining the boards of Visit Beloit, the Beloit International Film Festival, and the Beloit Snappers/Sky Carp.  After owning Pleasant Street Coffeehouse for a few years, Jennifer settled back into paralegal work as the Clerk of Courts for the Town of Turtle followed by her role as the litigation paralegal with Regal Rexnord.

Jennifer and Jeff enjoyed playing golf, live sporting events and long road trips - mostly to see family.  Family was very important to Jennifer. They were always the first ones to say yes when a family trip was proposed.  While Jeff was her husband, her rescue dog, Stella, was also the love of her life. 

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Rod, in 1998.  She regretfully leaves behind her mother Cam (Tom Mulrine), brother Mark (wife Jennifer, Theo and Megan) and sister Amy (husband Craig, Stephanie, Brenna and Ty).   

As a way to honor Jennifer, please join us in a celebration at The Rock Bar & Grill, 101 Maple Ave. in Beloit on Monday February 24th from 4pm to 7pm.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to an animal rescue organization or a hospice organization. 

Many of you will remember Jennifer for her colorful vocabulary, her witty comments, and her motto “It is what it is”. As a way to pay tribute to her life, please consider being an organ donor!
