Jerald “Jerry” Johns, age 85, died Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Alden Meadow Park in Clinton, WI. He was born February 20, 1939 to Byron and Evelyn (Jordan) Johns in Beloit, WI. Jerry graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, Class of 1957. Jerry married Joyce Burton on September 23, 2000 in Beloit, WI. They spent their retirement together traveling the entire United States, having visited just about every state. Jerry enjoyed fishing and would fish anywhere that he could find a catch.

Jerry is survived by his wife, sons James Johns, Jeffrey (Jeanine) Johns, and Jonathon; stepdaughters Leona (Bob) Wightman and Tammy Gilbert; daughter-in-law Colleen Johns; and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, friends, and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Jacklyn (Weston) Johns, son Jay Johns, grandson Aaron Johns, stepdaughter Paula Burton and stepson-in-law George Gilbert.

The family would like to thank the staff at Alden Meadow Park for their care during Jerry’s time there.
