Beloit - Joshua Vanden Branden, age 48, passed away suddenly on November 09, 2025. Josh was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on April 09, 1977; he was adopted by James and Sandra Vanden Branden.
Josh graduated from Preble High School in 1995. In the summer of 1996, he met the love of his life Tara Schneider, and they got married on May 29, 1999. He proudly served in the US Navy for nine years. Tara and Josh were blessed with three beautiful daughters who were his biggest pride and joy.
A dedicated husband, father, and follower of Christ, he poured himself into his family, friends, and church community. He served at Love Begins Here for seven summers, initiated a men’s group at Our Lady of Assumption, and regularly attended Element 26 men’s retreats which deepened his faith and love for God. Josh loved his wife Tara with deep devotion, and their life together was full of many great adventures. He cherished every opportunity to support his girls - coaching their soccer teams, attending all of their musical performances, dances, and horse shows. Josh loved the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He enjoyed many adventures with his family such as hiking, golfing, boating, and was a regular at the movie theater.
Josh is survived by his wife; Tara Vanden Branden, three daughters; Hailey (Sonny Boyd) Vanden Branden, Hannah Vanden Branden, and Abby (Nick Delimat) Vanden Branden, mother; Sandra Vanden Branden, parents; Steven and Nancy Eick, mother-in-law; Marlene Schneider, siblings; Angela (Eric) Coenen, Paul (Lisa) Eick, sisters-in-law; Tami (David) Doyle, Tiffany (Timothy) Van Rheenen, nieces and nephews; Raelynn and Nolan Coenen, Arthur and Juniper Van Rheenen, Paulette Doyle, Ari and Eli Eick.
Josh is preceded in death by his father; James Vanden Branden, grandma and grandpa; Kenneth and Maxine Hall, grandma; Doris Foley, father-in-law; Paul Schneider.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 9:00 AM, with a Mass immediately following at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2222 Shopiere Rd., Beloit, WI; Father David Jaramillo officiating.
