Beloit – Kevin Paul Reece, age 62, passed away at home on April 13, 2026. Kevin was born to Raleigh and Dolores Reece in Janesville, Wisconsin on May 7th, 1963.
He was a Navy Veteran and after returning home from Okinawa, Japan began his employment first with Beloit College in the maintenance and grounds keeper area. His special training in boiler systems was a proud achievement. He spent time honing his skills at Fairbanks Morse and eventually settled into the Beloit Public Works Department where he increased his skill sets in many areas as a valuable and well-liked employee and co-worker until his retirement in June 2020.
Kevin enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and karaoke. His love of tinkering led him into many fun and crafty enterprises. Spending time with his friends and pets held a special place in his heart.
Kevin is survived by, his wife Ellen Reece, a son Stewart (Emily) Reece, a daughter; Kaelyn (Derek) Nyman, and 16 grandchildren. He was blessed and grateful for the times he shared with Lisa Blum and Jerrod O'Brian.
Kevin is preceded in death by his parents Raleigh and Dolores Reece.
Kevin also leaves behind his siblings Brian (Anne) Reece, Colleen (Kenneth) Nelson, Peggy (David) Kelly, Steven (the Beav) Reece, and Tammy Dominy.
A service of remembrance will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Brian Mark Funeral home, 1000E Inman Pkwy, Beloit Wisconsin. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the start of the service.
